-Tired of the usual adobo? Then you should spice up your life with a new twist of native adobo!-
Ingredients:
Chicken cubes (you can also use pork)
1 clove garlic
1 laurel leaf
3 red sili (optional)
3 tsp. soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. oyster sauce
3 tsp. coconut milk powder diluted in 1/4 cup water
brown sugar to taste
Let's start Cooking!
1. Mince garlic
2. Into bowl, put the chicken cubes together with minced garlic, laurel leaf, red sili (optional) soy sauce and vinegar
3. Marinate for about 20-30 mins.
4. Bring to boil then add water and wait until vinegar is cooked already
*how do we know if it is cooked already? It's not sour to smell*
5. If the chicken is tender enough, heat a separate pan and fry the chicken and garlic
6. After frying, return it to the marinated sauce
7. Bring to boil and add the oyster sauce
8. Mix gently then add the diluted coconut milk
9. Boil until the sauce thickens
10. Add brown sugar to taste
11. Serve while hot! Bon appetit! =D
